Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth coordination between Rangoon Tea House and The Reading Room.
• Uphold the high standards of Rangoon Tea House, reflecting a brand with a 10-year legacy in Myanmar with upscale tea shop cuisine.
• Ensure the Reading Room feels like an extension of a guest’s living room, providing A+ service, quality, and flexibility with VIP requests.
• Create a warm, inviting, and home-like environment that resonates with Burmese and Thai guests, as well as expats with ties to Myanmar.
• Engage with high-value guests personally to make them feel valued and at home, strengthening customer loyalty. • Implement initiatives that encourage guests to embrace the brand as a lifestyle, with repeat visits driven by comfort, nostalgia, and a sense of belonging.
• Set and exceed monthly sales targets across the restaurant and bar, with a particular focus on driving revenue through the whiskey locker membership program.
• Actively promote the whiskey locker program to high-net-worth individuals, positioning it as an exclusive membership that enhances ease, flexibility, and prestige in dining out.
• Develop promotions and loyalty initiatives that encourage guests to spend more on food, drinks, and exclusive Rangoon Tea House merchandise.
• Monitor revenue, manage inventory, and control costs to optimize profitability.
• Analyze sales trends and customer preferences to adapt menu offerings, pricing, and promotions.

• Build a strong, service-oriented relationship with members, responding to requests with VIP-level flexibility to enhance their membership experience.
• Curate member-exclusive events, tastings, and privileges, positioning membership as a lifestyle choice and status symbol.
• Track and report on KPIs related to the program, including new memberships, renewals, and an increase in member spend per visit.
• Drive brand recognition, encouraging guests to see Rangoon Tea House as a lifestyle choice encompassing food, drink, and merchandise.
• Implement strategies to increase visits by connecting with guests’ nostalgia and affinity for Myanmar’s tea shop culture.
• Develop promotional programs, loyalty rewards, and customer engagement activities that inspire a deep connection to the brand.
• Hire, train, and motivate a team that understands and embodies the brand’s culture, delivering personalized and attentive service.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback, identifying opportunities for growth and development.
• Create a positive, collaborative workplace where team members can thrive and are encouraged to build long-term relationships with guests.
• Ensure that all activities comply with health, safety, and hygiene standards across both spaces.
• Conduct regular inspections to maintain food quality and safety standards and manage proper alcohol handling procedures.
• Maintain brand standards and enforce compliance in all service and bar operations.
• Regularly inspect the premises and facilities to ensure they meet all quality and safety standards of the Company and Landlord.
